Meet Nicole Weaver, Mediator Serving Orlando and Statewide Florida

I'm a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil Mediator with a law degree, an MBA, and more than 300 settled mediations behind me, helping businesses, creators, and property owners resolve disputes without losing sight of what's actually at stake.

Credentials Built for Complex Disputes

Most mediators come to the table with a law degree. Few also bring a business degree, and fewer still bring both alongside a Florida Supreme Court Certification. That combination is what I built my practice on, and it's the reason clients bring me disputes that go beyond a straightforward legal disagreement.

  • J.D., University of Miami School of Law
  • MBA, Rollins College
  • Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil Mediator
  • Licensed to practice law in Florida and California

The Rollins MBA is what pushes me to evaluate a dispute in terms of cost, timing, and long-term consequences, not just legal exposure.

Inside Experience, Not Studied From the Outside

Before founding my own practice, I spent years working inside the entertainment industry itself, in legal and executive roles at Sony Pictures Entertainment, BMG U.S. Latin, and Gavel Entertainment. I've sat on the side of the table my entertainment clients are on now, negotiating deals, managing IP, and making decisions under real business pressure. That entertainment law background is also why I currently serve as Legislative Chair of the Florida Bar's Entertainment, Arts & Sports Law Section.

Established in 2002, Still Hands-On Today

Legal Weaver Mediation is my mediation practice, operating under my law license as the Law Office of Nicole Weaver, PLLC. I founded the firm in 2002, and I still personally handle every mediation, entertainment law matter, and business law case that comes through the firm. That's more than two decades of continuous mediation practice, not a rotating cast of associates passing files back and forth. I don't see mediation as just refereeing a conversation between two sides. I look at the legal issues, the business realities, and the people affected by the outcome, and try to weave all three into a resolution that actually holds up once the mediation ends.
